GAMSTOP is the national self-exclusion scheme for Great Britain, and every operator licensed by the Gambling Commission has to be registered with it. Sites described as “not on GAMSTOP” are therefore sites licensed somewhere else.

The section separates what usually gets bundled together: no-registration and no-account casinos, sites without ID checks, operators outside GAMSTOP or Gamban, non-UK registered brands and anonymous crypto accounts.

The consequence is stated plainly rather than sold. A self-exclusion registered with GAMSTOP does not reach an offshore operator, so the scheme’s protection stops at the edge of the licensed market.
